MK1 Angel Eyes

   Anyone tried taking the shitty angel eye part out of it?
   
   Angel eyes only belong on one make of car, but i want some nice new lookin headlights with the Xenon looking projector bit inside.
   
   Ive heard you can take the LED ring out of the light unit.. but only if there is a sidelight.
   
   anyone else got experience of this?

   Give it a try matey, Ive never seen anyone attempt it. Also that if you think they only belong on one car, why did you buy them for the saxo?

   i aint bought any yet.
   
   i like the projector light bit.. they look like xenons.. but i dont want the angel eye part inside. im tempted to give it a whirl... but ballsing it up is gonna cost me another 120 quid for a new set
   
   hence why i wondered if anyone on here had tried it yet.

   Hmm they are far from xenons mate they so frigging dull i have to drive around with my bloody fogs on really not impressed with the illumination on them at all

   i didnt think they were gonna be brill so i was gonna get some decent bulbs... but if they are that shit i wont bother, i was after a brighter, higher quality light , ill just get myself some bulbs.

    from what i remember the lad with the turbovts (jamesvts possibly) removed the halo bit, i remember reading it somewhere
