No might that be the problem?? All the lights still work ok but the speedo and rev needle just wont move! I thought that they were run by a cable that spun?

They are cable driven, but it's more than likely a fuse thats gone mate.
Check your handbook.

Just checked the handbook is it a fuse inside the car or one in the engine bay??

I dont think that it is a fuse inside the engine bay so i have looked in the handbook at the table of fuses inside the car and can only see it being F1!
This is well annoyin the car is only just out of warrenty by 2 days!

there are two different diagrams mate, the one you come to first (page 103 i think) is the inside one and the second one is outside

cheers mark checked both, the diagram in the engine bay has nothing about the speedo or rev counter! The first one on p76 looks a bit more promising but still has nothing! I may be looking for something too obvious like 'rev counter and speedometer'!!

If its a clifford put it in valet mode. Clifford button twice the the lock one once. If not cover your ears.lol Taking the dials out isnt hard either.

Right thanks for everyones help!! I went out this morning checked all the fuses they were all ok, so i pushed all the what look like little plastic boxes that i guess have something to do with the fuses, you may have seen these above the fuses, and miraculously it worked! Well pleased!!

Wow Wow Wow Wait a minute m8. With your speedo not working your adding no milage to your car. My m8s speedo broke and he worked out his speed using using his rev counter. So if you get just you revcounter working youle add no more miles to your car
