This is a large job to do for someone that isnt a mechanic.
like me and my m8 did this, on a westcoast.

Your best bet it to do what we did and buy brake lines from citroen, making your own is a mssion and can be unsafe.

    use http://www.citroen-pr.net/

    to find the lines.

now some brake lines go from cilinder to axle. and some have a connector under the car directly below the passanger footwell.

it took us 7 hours that included lowering the bar, dont think its a quick job whoever does it. and the beam is real heavy.

    good luck dude

Absolute rubbish, your best option is to get a rear beam from a VTR/VTS or even a GTI. They already have the disks on, it takes less time to fit and the Anit-roll bar links are thicker as well as the torsion bar itself being thicker.

You can pick 2nd hand rear beams up from around £100. Try to get one that is already lowered from someone that is breaking for parts though.

fitting a new ream beam will take 3 hours tops, fitting disks etc would take 4-5 hours depending on some aspects.

I agree got a mate who is looking for a full rear axle (you may aswell say full bakc end suspension, brakes etc etc) for his 1.4 to conver it to a vtr.

so far he has put the engine in and the body kit is on.
only problem is he aint told his insurance company haha what a nutter lol.
good luck to him when he has a accident.

If you are going for one from a VTR/VTS (which seems the best move to me) I'd renew all the bushes and bearings before shoving it on. Will cost say another £100 but then you can fit it and forget about it, will also firm up the arse end nicely
