   i have a phase one vtr and was wondering if i could convert it to the 98bhp phase two by changing the CAT postion.

   no i dont think so its a complete different engine from all accounts

   nope, the ecu is also different. not worth it in the slightest.

   The difference in the two is hardly noticeable, if at all.

   90bhp cheaper to mod! but i do notice the difference in the two when i race my mate on some private land. but i have mine stripped out and the minute and it does seem to be faster. (mine is a 90 his 98)
   
   but in my eyes its not worth it.... there isnt too much difference but it is noticable.

   There would be no point unless you had to have a new engine, and even then its not really needed!
