#5thats not a Green part number so not of use anywhere but Demon Tweaks.
The parts I stock and fit into Raceland forced induction kits are B8.65 and k8.65
Both these have a 25degree angled head which makes them fit perfectly.
B8.65 looks like this

K8.65 is a conical version of the same filter. -
#6how much do you sell them for kamracing?
-
#7link for steves thread

#8How much are they? you forgot to mention that part...
-
#9£35 off the top of my head. There's no VAT added to that
Just for completeness
The replacement filter for the Ecosse / pipercross kit is k3.70 £32 + delivery
The simota kit uses the same filter as the raceland. -
#10There you go people you have a few options to go with now, I’ll tidy up my post later and add some pictures so you know what your dealing with and if I combine it with Kamracing’s input then we should have a nice little “sticky”.
-
#11B8.65 flows the same amount of air so the better fit makes it preferable over the part you got. Suitable for engines up to 204 bhp
-
#12when would be the deadline to order one so that it arrives before x-mas mate?
-
#13Ok you can stop slating me now, people get the message now.Quote:

#15I do take it as slating though and didn’t appreciate you rubbishing my attempt at being “helpful”.
I’m not making any money out of this venture the thread was only created as I get numerous PM’s a week asking me about the Green filter I used to replace the Raceland filter.
Rather than keep answering the same question individually I thought it would be a good idea to keep the information in one accessible place.
I have never claimed that the part number I provided was universal hence why I detailed the filter was purchased from Demon Tweeks
I have also never claimed that it was the idealistic filter and have only recommended them as a vast improvement over the awful Raceland one.
This thread was intended as a reference point and not the New Testament for air filters.
I’ve had my say so I’ll leave it at that.
