how do you get rid of

    right, when i bought my saxo, the person i got it off had ripped their tints off, leaving me with the lovely job of getting rid of the sticky stuff.. what can i use to get rid of it; cos i must need to get rid of that before i can get my tints put on..

    try white sprit? or something similar

    Be carefull not to get any on the rubber seals as they can melt the rubber.

    There is no real easy way its all hard graft mate :-)

    i used some brushes to work it into the gluye covered everything up before starting and took me a good few hours still

    So its best to use Paint thinners, and paint it on then rub it off?

    beleive it or not, window cleaner works! like that kinda stuff you buy in a spray bottle (windowlene?!?!) and a cloth... bit of elbow grease and your laughing. wont damage any seats either if ya spill it

    still have to put some elbow grease in with thinners

    i did use something different on the back window, was proper glue remover ill have a look for you as i borrowed it but aint gave it back lol

    white spirit and a rag, worked a treat for me! then make sure clean windows after as left a smear on mine

    Iv just been doing this tonight on my mates astra, thinners and then panel wipe on a seperate clean cloth!

    nail varnish remover is the best i think. just make sure ur mum doesnt catch u
