was looking at getting 306 gti-6 brakes for my saxo and just wondered does it matter what year the calliper is off? or are they all the same?

All the same, also look for 306 Rallye and Citroen Xsara VTS items, as they are also the same

there are laods of brakes use the 283mm and 266mm brakes system.
there is also a few different calipers that fit each model car. none are smaller than the other, the difference is the shape of the pad and different disc offsets.

the calliper of 306 gti 6 is the gear are 283mm and in italy are more people mont this calliper on saxo

plenty of cars use those brakes, 283mm. you will be very suprised at what you can get the calipers off
