hey guys was jsut wondring is it possible to buy a full kit such as a spax psx kit but use 50mm springs instead of the 40mmones provided. is there anywhere that have a 50mm full kit?

APEX make 50mm kits for VTR/S mate iirc. I know they used to, I remember I was annoyed cus I wanted a 50mm kit but had a 1.4 and they were all for VT saxos.

so could i just buy normall shocks and dampers such as apex or spax ones the use those 50mm springs, then get the torsion bar done? are the gmc springs any good?

gmc 50mm springs are a bit soft, but yes you could buy the gmc shocks (bilsteins which are the best) and use other 50mm springs.

Btw, it's better to get the VSX kit from Spax because as far as I'm aware, they haven't got the shocks/dampers for the VSX kit so they should chuck in the shocks/dampers from the PSX for free. So you're getting the better PSX kit for the same price as the VSX kit.

And yes... you can use 50mm springs as opposed to the 40mm ones that come with the kit. You could then sell the 40mm springs which I'm sure you'll have no problems in selling.

Spax are rubbish. spend a bit more and buy either the gmc kit or some konis.
