Second Amp???

   Hi I have a kenwood md head unit and I am after fitting a 2nd amp but only have one set of pre outs, I have heard of and seen splitter rca cables but i am unsure about them. Do they take a left rca cable and turn it into a left and right source or make two left sources?
   Sorry if this is confusing, also can you get decent quality ones or are the fiver jobies the best you can get???

   not too sure on this one.... guessing it would split the left one into two lefts and right into 2 rights

   correct, it will split which ever side you connect it to into two. So connect it to the left you get to lefts and the other to the right and you have two rights, thus giving you two out puts from one
   
   It wont make a difference how much the splitter costs really, try and get some at least decent looking ones that arent made with so sellotape and a coat hanger
