Don't do it by notches lad, definately use a tape measure as you'll get an accurate measure then. 80mm would look good on the back. Im not 100% sure how far you can go on the front without air bags though

It doesn't sound like a good idea to me but your going to have invest in some coilovers to get anything past 60mm at the front.

I sort of got the wrong end of the stick....but coilovers are still a good option as there adjustable so you can go up and down as you please.

www.coilsprings.co.uk seem to be able to make springs for any car and what ever drop you want. i was told that these springs would be an automatic mot failure because the wont compress when the car has been jacked up.

There a new one to me mate I have no idea what the legality of springs is but usually you fail if they cant get it on the ramps or bits are dragging on the floor.
God knows what the ride quality will be like?

only way you could do that is to have some soft long springs made or you run the risk of them coming out of the cups over large dips or when jacked up.
It will ride even worse than it does at the moment and handling....well you wont be able to call it handling it will just skip like a small girl
