Tell me what these sensors are and what they do

   as the title says,
   
   I think the one on the left is some sort of air flow sensor and the one on the right is throttle position sensor (might be wrong) and not sure about the one in the middle.
   
   could also do with knowing exactly what they do and how they are supposed to work

   what engine is it? normally have a;
   
   
   Inlet Air temperature sensor - reads the temp of the air going into the engine ( grey plus in the pic)
   
   throttle position sensor tells hte ecu at what point the throttle buterfly is at for air/ fuel mixture (black plug on the right in the pic)
   
   i cant see what the botom one is but it might be to do with the Idle control valve - controls the idle of the engine but i dont know what engien u got

   thanks for that, the car is a vtr 2000 reg.
   
   so i was right on the left and right plug, are any of these linked to the auto matic choke?

   the throttle position sensor is the one on the right. i dont think the idle control valve is actually on the throttlebody on vtrs. i think its on the other sode of the inlet manfold.

   yes the idle valve /stepper motor or what ever you call it is on the other end of the inlet manifold.
   
   Just trying to find out if any of these have any part to play in the auto choke.

   dont think they do mate. but i could be wrong. i allways thought it was programmed into the ecu to run the autochoke for so long or till the engine is at a certain temp then it stops.

   thats a blow then, i was hoping this may be the cause of my problem
