mine were a bargain to.
tip, soak the part of the brake line that goes into the caliper with WD40 for an hour or so before you start. dont use a spanner on the brake line, use a pair of mole grips, you will end up rounding the hex of the brake line as it will be pritty tight. dont touch the brake line connection under the wing next to the suspension, if that brakes you will have to fit new brake lines.
to get the brake line back into the caliper, start it off, dont force it as its a fine thread, once started, spin the caliper to tighten the brake line to it. bit fiddly but its the best way i found. then tighten with the mole grips again
you will need a few washers to put on the caliper bolts that hold the caliper to the struts. as the vtr/vts bolts dont have a full thread. i think i had 2 washers behind both of the studs that hold the caliper on. The calipers are easy to fit the pads in and the discs go straight on. then place new fluid in the brake system and bleed the brakes.
its a shit hot setup
you will love it.
