    washed piper cross filter in soapy water, since then not v good shud of used proper stuff would the soapy water of mesd it up if i was to by the cleaner wud it make it work ok gen.

    piper x open filters are garbage anyway, regardless of what people say about cold air feeds etc they offer absolutely no performance gains whatsoever. bin it and get an enclosed filter or at least put your standard airbox back on.

    get a green enclosed, ive just ordered one but there pricy come in at about 210 delivered, or you can go for a bmc enlosed slightly cheaper, or you can buy the enclosed one on ebay (raceland one, has 106 on the funnel) and order a green filter from green filters site but they require a bit of work to get them to fit

    just bought one from fleabay, has 'vts' on the casing, and the green filter fights straight into it
