   just a thought.
   
   1) Would a xsara vts engine fit in a saxo?
   
   2) what kind of bhp do xsara vts push out standard and after some mild modifications, i.e manifold,exhaust etc
   
   any ideas anyone?

   it would but its gonna cost you loads and it will make your car handle like a pissed fat bird tryin to dance
   
   better off gettin vts lump in and tuning that then strip your car out of the useless bits like rear seats, rear wiper motor and all the other little heavy bits until you got a nice fast light car
   
   thats the way to do it

   im sure a standard xsara vts pushes out 169bhp standard

   1) With enough money yes. 5k+
   
   2) Standard same as a gti 6 engine i think but without six spee box

   yeah im not thinking about doing it was just wondering, me and my mate were debating earlier weather it could be done.

   oops i didnt read the just a thought bit lol
   
   there was a 106 gti in a thread on here recently with a gti-6 engine in dont think u can get full lock tho cuz the gearbox is too big

   i seen that on a website, i cant remember which site but he was showing the pics and he showed it on full lock and it was awful, the wheel could hardly move, looked like it had halfed the steering circle
