    Hiya,

Im Looking At Lowering Kits basiclly i no that you cna lower -40mm and shock will be ok but i dont wanna risk it some how i just wanna get a full kit to be honest but i dont wanna pay mega money (obviasly cuz its just been christmas and anit got much) i wanted some with shorter shockers so that it will 100% safley let me lower to -40mm front and -50mm back without any problems in the furture.

ive seen a few on ebay here is one set with i am very very interetsed in and maywell buy if i get the thumbs up form you guys.

and then there is gmax whihc i have been told by a few of my friend to stay away form because they have had endless problems.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-Saxo-G...QQcmdZViewItem

then there is these whihc i think are a little expensive to be quite honest (or beyond my budget lol) but they only lower it -35mm aswell

If anyone can give me some help in what i should buy

also if they have had a problem with a certain make (and wot problem it was)

also if anyone can suggect different ones and give me the links to them

    please let me no

thanks so much for takin time to read this.

    thanks.

To be honest any of thoes will be fine depending if you have a VTR or VTS etc as I believe VTS have rear shocks instead of the torsion bar which means you dont need rear springs but you can get the shock to replace the crappy standard instead so you have to look out for that, they are all budget so they should all be equally as good or so standards wise. Just fyi I have and know a few that lowered the car with just springs (40mm though not anymore) and it's no problem honestly but if you are talking track/racing etc then you will have to spend a fair bit. Goodluck.

PS: I do know that VTR and lower models do have a rear torsion bar so yours will need front shock absorber etc and rear damper I would think not a set of 4 but 2 if you get what I mean.

should get a spax kit, if your on a budget at least there betterly known than the above, well everyone knows gmax as cheap crap, even spax kits are better than gmax, and jamex ive heard of them before but id still go for a spax kit over all the above for a budget suspension setup

only shocks which are genuinely shorter are the bilsteins from gmc (and they're the best).

You can have 40mm from that setup in the front and since the rear it's a torsion bar it can be adjusted separately to what you want but it will affect the handling depending how much you doit by, 50mm should be ok I guess and yes to your question.
