... fit a SPAX PSX 60mm suspension kit, intended for 1.4/VTR/VTS onto a 1.1, what will happen? Is it worth doing if I can get the kit cheaply?

Its the weight difference between a 1.1 and the other's that's the problem.

As Ads said mate... It's only the different weigths of the engines that will have an impact (if any). You may find that it will not be a 60mm drop but something a little lower (i.e. 50mm). I don't know tbh.

it'll work... but no i doubt it'll lower it all that much.

also the ride will be naff, as it's been set up for a heavier front. I honestly dont know why you dont just go for the standard 1.1 kit.

It's the PSX one, sells for over 300 quid, someone on here selling for 150 ish. I shouldn't buy anyway... already spent stupid about on 1.1... got a bit carried away on first car. Might sell my Compomotives and everything else I've done tbh...
