   as long as you get the adopter brackets like you have to do with the gti-6 as the near enough the same

   i only have callipers, 266mm discs and pads

   you need calipers, carriers and then discs and pads
   
   does the caliper come apart? normally the carrier is still attached to the caliper, carriers just where the bolts go thru

   poeple dont seem to know what the carriers are.
   you dont need adapeter plates.
   if you dont have the carriers then you only have half a brake.

   sorry, yes calliper comes apart. i no what you mean now, should they bolt straight on.........

   yes, they may need a slight bit of grinding. if you post a ppic of hte area where it bolts to the hub i'll tell you if and where it needs grinding.

   am rubish with the pic postin thing. is it the edge where it would hit the damper, or the actual face of where you bolt it... eg to make it thiner

    the bit where it can hit the strut, wont fit on if it needs to be ground.

    no adapter plates needed jsut the carrier grinded a little to stop it hiting the strut, oh and jsut remember early s16s had 266mm and not 283mm
