Modding doorcards.....

   Have some 1.1 doorcards on the way thought they came with the bigger interior door handles but we have just figured out they are the smaller ones DOH!
   
   I have a mk2 vts with electric mirrors, the switch for these as some of you may know is on the drivers side interior door handle, do you think ill be able to cut the holes that the handles sit in and make them big enough to fit the bigger door handle in? So i can keep my electric mirrors?

   Vts doors are actually a slightly different shape. They are moulded to accommodate the switches.
   
   I only know because I put a vts interior in the gf's car and noticed the differences when the cards were out

   But 1.1 doorcards do fit inside the vts dont they?

   They do fit, it's just the bit that the handle attaches to is wider further forward on the vts

   i am sure u can get the vts grabs to fit the 1.1 cards with a little cutting but will jsut sit further back

   there plastic or fibreglass i think so just get the file or dremel out and file away at it, trial and error
