I'd say you could go down 60mm but it could in theory rub due to the tyre profile on the 13's.

If you haven't already take a look in the premium guides for a guide to lowering, remember kids, before you ask a question become a premium member and search the FAQ's

if you're staying on standard tyres dude, in theory you should be able to put it right down to the bump stops. your passengers will hate you.

i am a premium and i did look in there and i did find it but they only tells you how to lower it not how low you can go (im 18 not a kid )

To be fair though mate you need to get some alloys sorted first, if you slam it on trims it will look gay.

If you lower just at the back, and dont buy springs for the front its going to look not just a tad gay but verging on George Micheal and the handling will be shite, if you use springs on the front aswell that will be more safe but if you go down to the bump stops its going to have a horrible ride and the back end will feel very very unstable. But good luck

So how much you lower it by is slightly different as you have a base model 106 which is very similar to a base model Saxo. The work required will be more because of it being a base model (i.e. flat arches).

If its going to be kept on the same rims then wherever the torsion bar is lowered to will be fine.

This is because the suspension is designed to accomodate the wheel as it goes up and down naturally.

people lower the car with standerd vtr rims, wots the diffrence then.
