Does anyone know the over-all length of a De-Cat pipe for a Mk2 Vtr!
Or if anyone has a spare one: could they measure it for me!

No because a 98bhp saxo has cat as part of the manifold where as the 90bhp saxo has cat under car

Only on the later model vtrs, but that isnt the point!
I need to know the length of the cat/de-cat which would be under the car!

Well you should of just said 90bhp model then mate as the only way to decat a 98bhp vtr is to replace the manifold with a performance one!
If you measure your cat surely that will be the same length as a decat right?

Yea, sorry! A cat for a 90bhp model!
Il tell you what it is: iv got a cat-back system from a 90bhp model and my cars a 98bhp model! So what im gona do is make a section up the same size as a de-cat to make it fit to the manifold! Hense why i was asking if anyone new the length of a de-cat, so that i can make this section up, so that it will fit on my car!

Thats what my original plan was, but iv got a section of stainless exhaust pipe lying in the shed and my m8s a gd welder so i was just gona get the pipe cut to the right length, then get him to weld it!! What you think?

it all depends where you cut the old one off to, you would need a new flange to weld onto the old one unless you just want to be a cowboy and cut out the cat and just weld in a bit of pipe
