How much for pad fitting?

   Been quoted £40 for the labour of fitting front and rear brake pads. This good price? Obviously i have to get the pads though...

   it's a good price but you can do it yourself and save yourself the money. Very easy to do

   I dont mind working on the car, but brakes are something of upmost importants so dont want to put mine or anyone elses life at risk (:.

   Buy a haynes manual and do them yourself

   personally i would do them myself but you are right if your not sure then its better to get it done by a pro.
   
   £40 seems well too much to me. should be more like £10 to £15 as they will just take it as cash in hand. try going to somewhere on a saturday or sunday and ask them if they will do it for cash in hand as there is less chance of the gaffers been there
