Ipod holders

    Not sure where this should be but here goes.

    Ipod holders..Im gonna reli need a good 1 soon

    All i can seem to find is cheap crap or 3 in 1 things. Im lookin for something to hold my 5th gen ipod (video). As i will be running an interface from the headunit i dont need any chargind features.

    Any1 got any goo suggestions

    A few people on here have made their own holders which sit in the space infront of the gearstick, they look smart. Have a search for ipod and you should find some pictures of them.

    dension make ipod brackets for ipods specific to each vehicle,at work (halfords) they are 10 quid which is nothing imo,really good,dont break nor fall off

    I've bought 1 (off ebay), but i dint realise it was gonna be 1 of those suction pads for glass. Anyway my initial though was, ok i'll be able to stick inside the lil tray near the gear stick. But it doesnt want to stick there (at all).

    Any suggestions?

    well mine actually just pulls out, its just pushed in so it holds itself up

    i can still put things under it

    just a holder, i used pieces of wood to make and l shape on each side

    looks good.

    But any1 got any ideas how to get mine to stick to the plastic?
    Is it not sticking because the plastic has that slight indented pattern on it, so it cant create a vaccume?
    I was thinkin could i put perspex in it? or perhaps do something to smooth it out?

    yeah its because of the impefections mate, you could always try to mound it by screwing the sucker in place i suppose

    worth go halfords have a look at some of the order in ones,i work there lol we can get sm wel nice holders now ,around £20
