lower by how much?? sorry again 50 questions!! my sax was already lowered c so iv never had to have it done myself- i have a clio billabong as i wrote off my sexy sax a month ago. -
#4Both at the same time

#6Get alloys and lower at the same time.
Has the clio got alloys as standard? -
#7What Dave means is that buy the suspension springs/kit and wheels and then have it done at the same time.
Otherwise... I'd look at lowering before putting wheels on. Cars at standard ride height with aftermarket alloy wheels looks stupid in my opinion. -
#9whats you recomendation on springs etc.. my clio is above any ideas...?
-
#10How deep's your wallet... or purse in this case?
How low do you want to go?
What size alloy wheels would you like on it? -
#11Lower it on them matey, wouldn't look to bad!
-
#1201- depends on the make i supose, want to get the best so that its not a shoddy job!Quote:How deep's your wallet... or purse in this case?

02- want to go for 16inch alloys
03- i dont want to go too low enough so the that alloys sit tidy. -
#13Best bet is to check out either a french car forum - Check my sig
or on a clio site, They will know about best springs etc

#15It'll look good if put on 16's as the Clio's have quite large arches. Therefore I'd recommend a 40mm drop with some Spax springs. They'd set you back around £50 (max.) and they're acceptable. There are better makes out there but at the end of the day, you do pay for what you get. You'd be looking at paying around £150 to have the car lowered. Have you asked any of the peeps on ClioSport? Only because I'm not clued up on problems (if any) you may run into when lowering a Clio.
