#2I've got mine on and it's improved the handling massivley. However the rear is very bouncy but it hasn't been lowered yet at the back and I haven't had the time to adjust the damping rate so so far it seems good.

#3Get in mate! Nice one

Did you take my advice by any chance (i.e. They will give you the PSX kit for the same price as the VSX kit because they're still waiting for the improved VSX shocks)? -
#4went to www.motorsportworld.com as they were the cheapest i could find. he said that they has no vsx kits so he rang spax and they said they would give me the psx kit for an extra 40 quid on top of the price for the vsx kit. so £250 all in basically
how do you adjust if needed and why would you need to??? all new to me lol! -
#5you get a tiddley key that adjusts the damper.
-
#6it's got adjustable damping rate so you can adjust from soft to hard or anywhere in between depending on what kind of ride you want. Rears you adjust with a screwdrive and fronts you adjust with a knob that they give yaQuote:went to www.motorsportworld.com as they were the cheapest i could find. he said that they has no vsx kits so he rang spax and they said they would give me the psx kit for an extra 40 quid on top of the price for the vsx kit. so £250 all in basically

#7in what circumstances would you need to change it? does it adjust the stiffness of it

#8An extra £40!!! Gees! The VSX kit was £200 when I wanted it. Because of the hassles with the shocks, they threw in the shocks from the PSX kit for free so I got the uprated kit for £200
Still... £250 isn't too bad although your kit is 40mm and mine was 60mm. Hmmm.
To adjust the dampers (for the rear), you'll need a flat head screwdriver and just turn the screw in the direction you wish (Clockwise - Hardens the ride, Anti-clockwise - Softens the ride). I had mine set on half and half but when I had people in the back, it used to bounce like mad and then scrape. But now I have it set on as stiff as you like and it's fine... Just very bumpy for backseat passengers but I try to not take people in the back.
Your best bet would be to have it set on half and half, see what that's like and then adjust if necessary. Don't leave it too long otherwise the screws will cease up. But... it's nothing a little bit of WD40 can't sort

#10i`ve got these adjustable dampers mine are on 8 clicks out of 28 and thats about right i`m down 60 all round, the front is maybe a little soft but the rears jus right, just didnt wanna start making the shocks different settings

#11Hopefully my kit will be on by the end of next week!!
can't wait, my handling at the moment is shite!! -
#12Got mine fitted a week ago and so far its been really good, not had chance to fiddle with the settings yet though!

#13Ive just got my spax kit fitted and i'm really pleased with it!!

#15The kits are ok... They're not anything special... But they do the job and are very reasonably priced
