Rs turbo recaro seats

I used to hang around with loads of people who owned escorts and fiesta etc, just wondered if I could get a pair of front recaros from them into a saxo if I had subframes made up for them!!! How would they be on MOT's or would i have to keep originals for the MOT!!!

would i have to make subframes or get somewhere to make subframes??? Seen a few sets kicking about, could do wiv a re trim!!! What do people think of porsche seats????

I was thinking about this today, as long as the subframes were up to standard then you should be able to. I think someone like corbeu (sp) or cobra do a very similar seat and you can get special saxo subframes

Another good question i was wondering this also, as my mate had his rs turbo festa smashed up for him by some twat in a car park tryin to do a wheel spin on full lock idiot, so i was going to have his interiour if it would fit.

yeah i got a rs turbo for da summer, u can get recaro look a likes from cobra its called the le mans, shudnt be a problem to fit

i know a lad who put Scooby STi leather buckets into his VTS, so i don't see why not, i think if you could get the subframes made then you have pretty much any bucket seats in your saxo mate!

If you manage to do it post some piccys up mate i've had alot of RS Turbos and missing the recaros so if you do it i might have a go as well.

Loads of sets of recaro's on ebay at the moment!!! If only i had the money!!! What do people think of porsche seats aswell???

I love them but thats more to do with my euro golf obsession than anything and RST seats are very old skool and some what dated.

Go Porsche or TT if your feeling really flush.

The Impreza seats will fit with a bit of messing around with AX frames I was looking at them before and this is the best method apparently.

I do love the recaro's in rst but was thinking about a re trim for them, my mate works at a porsche garage and i was going to put sum seats in my old mini but decided to sell the mini before i got the seats, might see if i can get them off him again!!!

Think he had black, brown (tan) or grey last time i was up there!!! Will have to have a word when i see him!!! I saw them in a 306 and loved the look of them!!! comfy seats aswell!!!

id love to have a set of sti seats, bet its a nightmare to fit, if you get recaros in youll have to get a pic up, pm mattwesty as i can remember his friend was making custom subframes or something like that

Lotus Elise seats also work well. Someone on SSC put them in is 106 Rallye!

Don't like them lotus seats. look odd!!!! But yeah i am going to have word with mate about the porsche seats!!! Save some more of me pennies!!!
