okay i have a question.. my 1.1i when i lowered it, i did the fr4ont 40 and teh back roughyl 40 yet my back looks a tad higher than the front? do you know if you perhaps have to make the back lower on 1.1i's or VTR's or saxos in general. are they higher than the back or something?
back lowered more than front?

#2they come out of the factory slightly higher at the rear so it has good handling, the way a small front-drive hatch should be .
-
#3fuck teh handling, i just wanna know, how low will she go.. lol
-
#460mm at the front and 80mm at the back end... that's what connor has, on readily available springs (60mm) that about it.Quote:fuck teh handling, i just wanna know, how low will she go.. lol
Personally I wouldnt, im pretty sure the back end would be on its bump stops on the shocks. as a result the back end is going to skip over bumps at higher speeds and you'll have a nice uncontrollable car. -
#5well i am changing to a VTS rear axe? dunno if thatll be any better or make a diff? i cant go anymore than 45mm at front cas my front bumper is nearly floored. lol so what would ppl recooment i drop tha back..
-
#6drop it 10mm more at the rear... thats my personal preference from the ones that i've seen.
-
#7when you getting yours done ads?
-
#8after bodykit goes on... then i know how much i've got to work with.
looking at a measly 30mm drop at the front. so i've still got some clearance
-
#9yeah but no but you should drop it to the floor, innit man
have you sprayed the kit yet then? -
#10too cold :upset:
hopefully easter if my exam timetable is too ghey. Anyways i've started toying with the idea of smoothing the bumper now
-
#11and the boot??
-
#13You can go about 80-90 on the rear but keeping the front at 40 will look plain silly. Lower the back another 10mm.
-
#14i supposed i could perhaps drop the front a tad more but it already cratches sometimes over bmps and very step joins into the road like godamn petrol stations lol
-
#15Mines 40mm front and 50mm rear and its fine.
Dont like having rear passengers though! Just in case... -
#16bt lower at the back looks alright
