   Wot engine is in a W reg VTR? is it the 90bhp lump or the 98bhp?

   could be either.....depends when in 2000 it was made (i think) mine was made in Sept IIRC and mine would of been a 98BHP if it was a VTR

   Just see if there is a sensor coming out the cat To be honest mate it won't make a difference to the speed etc.

   Wont make any difference to it really just means the cat is in a different place etc but, it could be either engine.

   not all silvertops have 98bhp, x-reg registered before september 2000 has cat under the car and 90bhp, after september 2000 they have cat in manifold and 98bhp.

    As Dan said though it doesnt matter unless its bragging rights or somethin, the 8bhp was added cause of the perfomrance loss when they changed the exhuast system to meet new pollution regs
