   Right 2 questions.
   
   first off,how many of you are running de-cat pipes or manifolds in your exhaust system, and have you ever been pulled over and had an emmisions test when the decat has been on. ?? What do the cops do?give you a couple days to get it sorted???
   
   Also.
   
   With a Raceland 4-2-1, and a standard exhaust system on my vtr, can i expect much of a different sound from my exhaust when i put the decat in?

   THe police wont be able to do a roadside test, but are allowed to send you to a test facility. The likelihood is very slim though...
   
   When you fit a decat pipe you will notice a slight increase in response. THe engine will appear to rev slightly more freely. You will also experience a raspy sound. The decats tend to be quite thin walled steel, which resonates much more than the std exhaust.
   
   If you drop unlucky, you'll also get a vibration in 2nd gear, when the gear selector catches on the decat pipe

   Yea i always wondered what a decat and 4-2-1 would be like with the standard VT back box as I quite like it.

   nah just will hear the selctor hit the de cat and be annoying to you

   my de-cat dont catch or vibrate in second its funny shaped though so this may help it not to catch

    dont hear any noise when i change gear and ive decat pipe, cant think what it would hit but then like said before it is a funny shape/has a slight bend to go around something so yeh just fit it properly! would sounce ace with manifold too!

    Here is the decat i got since i bought a full system from them i would say its very good and if your fitting to a mk1 it does not rub or vibrate in second might be worth looking into this one for you

    Yeah it would fit a 1.1 if off a mk1 saxo.
