Superbike Exhaust on a saxo??!!

   im sure from the title your all a baffled as i am (mind tbh i dont know much about exhaust systems), but its true i have read up somewhere, cant remember where but apparantly if you were to put a superbike exhaust on your car (backbox you have to mod it on to the mid-pipe!) it sounds mint, like a low purring then a superbike sound when accelerating!!
   
   i tried to google it again but found nothing...
   
   thought it was quite kool and if anybody else had heard of it and/or done it, seen it?
   
   sounds a bit farfetched maybe silly to me just wondering what u guys thought kool idea though!

   Yeah its been done before with custome jobs i think mate, usually on show cars with carzone kits on

   You can put bike cans on cars yes, looks stupid imo.

   they don't sound like bikes unfortunately as car engines don't rev to 16000 rpm like my R6

   no point really, just buy an off the shelf one that you know will fit, look better and probably sound better.

   Within reason its possable to fit Any exhaust to Any car, as long as there is room for the Siliencer/can/back box.
   
   A motorbike can or a motorbike style can may give a slightly different note due to the size and style of can compaired to that of a car.
   
   If you still fancy giveing it a go have a chat with a custom exhaust shop, they will be able to advise you and may even be able to supply you with a motorbike style can.
   
   For the most performnace gains in a exhaust system lose the centre box, replace the Cat with either a sports cat or decat (remove the cat completely) remeber your need it for MoT time through, and a 4branch manifold will increase performance regardless of the back box style.
   
   All of the above will increase noise tho so if you want performance with less noise a off the shelf exhaust ie piper, scorpion, janspeed etc will be better.
   
   All down to personal preferance to be honest

    Im sure someone on here with a Bluey/Silver (cant remember what colour they call it) had a bike can on his, and I think there was pic's aswell.

    A friend of mine had a bike can on his fiesta 1.3 si lookalike. It looked pants to me lol.

    yeah was a 2 tone blue/silver with two cbr900 cans looked good iirc
