depends on what size wheels you have to what kind of brakes you can buy

17"s, i dont want anything massive or massivly expensive jus so they stop, saxo's r seriously light so i would expect any upgrade to show massive improvement

206 GTi 180 brakes or the 306 GTi-6 brakes aswell

thanks mate, any estimates how much that would set me back?

go for 206 GTi calipers with 262mm discs. and some good pads. should cost you about £150-£200 but the improvement is worth it.

    Either go for a 206 180 setup or a 306 setup.

Or you can go for just uprated Pads like EBCs or Mintex etc, grooved discs and braided hoses for that extra bit of feel.

if you want a mild improvment get some combi disks and decent pads! job done.

if you want amazing stoppers. 4 pots

if you want 1/2 decent brake upgrade. 206-gti or 206gti180 brakes will do.

  21. #21
huh!? i dont follow!? mine are just standard 206gti pads and disks. will be better once i get performance ones.
  22. #22
most uprated pads are a harder material not softer.
  23. #23
even with standard pads they should still be good, you sure you have bled them properly?
  24. #24
they are good yes, work well with my goodridge hoses too, but can be better with better pads & disks, yep they were fitted properly bleeding took 30mins, even though the rear caliper bleep nipple crumbled... LOL will stop better once i have better dampers and poly bushes.
