after having my head back port & polished and skimmed i have put my catcams in but not yet had it mapped. i had .3mm skimmed off and eversince i put the head back on there is oil leaking from the sump!!!

could there be a blockage in the oil works somewhere or is the extra compression from the head skim forcing the oil back down?

its leaking like mad literally dire3ctly behind the oil filter where the sump meets the bottom end.

i need my car for tomorrow as im at a course at work. please help me guys n gals!

thinking about it now. there is a heat exchanger on the vts's aint there? and the actual thread that the oil filter bolts on to is connected to that. do you recon it could have undone slightly as i took the oil filter off? and then when i put the new filter on it didnt screw itself back in fully?

could be something blocking an oil line on the head, 0.3 will up the compression if ur using a standard thickness headgaskette rather then a +.3 gaskette but then i presume u wanted to up the compression slightly. was the gaskette seated correctly and did u run it in correctly as it could be blowing comprssion into an oil channel causing it to blow out maybe even from the extra compression, do a qucik compression test on each cylinder and see if there ok to ilimate it. like u say it could be the heat exchanger, i've never took mine apart but when doing oil changes i know that the middle brass connector could be something to do with it but that would jsut make it leak from the filter i think or is the leak behind the heat exchanger? so is it coincidence that this has happened or is it something u might have done accidently putting it back together?
