#2could go custom, then you can pick your exhaust note
-
#3gd idea, didnt think of that to be honest. How much would it cost to go custom??
-
#4prices will start at £300+ for a custom exhaust!
-
#5you could always try uk exhausts in sheffield.
i know its a bit far away but they did a really good job on my mates. -
#6kool, sheffield is far away yes, but as i love driving it dont really matter. Have you got any pics??

#7i got a powerflow other week and said i didnt want mine to bug me when on the motorway as i am on the motorway a lot. and they put a sports sound on, its good low down then fades away as your reach high revs, its nice and raspy as you set of and ticks over sexy to. just an idea mate but i like it on mine

#8There are Sooooo many options its untrue.
Budget exhausts in mild steel like Ashley Competion systems will see very good gains for very little pounds but is quite loud.
Piper, Scorpion, Mongoose are all good performers expect to pay around £250-£300 depending on system and where you order it from, your get a nice sporty deep tone with these.
Magnex, Supersprint and Janspeed are all good performers but more on the quiet side, some people cant even tell the difference untill much higher up the rev range again £250-£300 depending where you go really.
Custom jobs (mixed reviews about these, Im personally a Fan, others I know are not) Look to pay between £250 upwards and sky is pretty much the limit.
Try 4extreme performance Crayshill between Billericay and Basildon just off the A127 www.viperracingsystems.co.uk best to speak to him face to face as you can really get across what you want. Top bloke Ive used him on a number of cars.
At the end of the day most (not all but most exhausts) will performe pretty much the same some better than others but I think alot of it depends on of mods on the car :-) -
#9thanks, would it be worth getting a full system or just the back box??
-
#10if you want ring longlife on 02920473131 as they have branches all over the uk backbox just for noise and a full system for a little gain in power if you plan on keeping the car id recomend a full system as it can be a good selling point also longlife exhausts are guarenteed for life so no worries at all
-
#11Again really down to budget, a off the shelf direct fit branded Back Box will set you back around £100-£150+ depending on brand.
A custom back box cost about £50-£90 to fit if its only a Jap style can.
Decide what tailpipe you like the look of then see who makes that style.
For best power gains and smoother power delivery a 4branch manifold and either sports cat or removing the cat completely (decat) will be best but its not cheap. Doing it all in one go tho will save you money in the long run :-) -
#12You got any pics of it?? this is exactly what im lookin for. how much it cost??Quote:i got a powerflow other week and said i didnt want mine to bug me when on the motorway as i am on the motorway a lot. and they put a sports sound on, its good low down then fades away as your reach high revs, its nice and raspy as you set of and ticks over sexy to. just an idea mate but i like it on mine

#13i got a custom cobra one made for me mate, i got every the way i wantd it..the shape and the sound, they let me hear a range of sounds off different cars they had, so i picked the one i liked the best. it cost me around £300 which aint bad for a straigh through system wit a back box an custom made cat imo....custom the best way ta go me tinks...

#14£300 isnt bad, i need to get some £££'s together first but i think i'll have do to some searching lol
