removal of wheel arch liners..

  1. #1
okay i have my car yer i lowered it and im in proccess of fitting 17's and roling arches back and axle conversion etc..

    all im wondering is..

do i have to remove my wheel arch liners from the car, its lowered 40 mm at front and prolly 50-55mm at back?

cas i personally think it will look shite on my saxo if i remove them and also mud and stones will get pushed throuhg my bumprs mesh all the time.

if your fitting 17"s you shouldnt need to remove them, i havnt, altho i have 16"s.
im guessin try some trial and error mate

i've still got my arch liners in with 17's
  7. #7
    they must be modified?

the arches are but the liners arent

they have to be its absolutely impossible that they are not.
    In fact its physically impossible.

The rear arch liner would rub all the time particularly where it extends out to cover the rear bumper bracket

would be best to eep them on if possible like, but its not that bad if you have 17"'s on

BUT, i've got 14"s on, not lowered or anything, and missing the front passenger one (came off in the crash) and that looks bad, the car looks higher aswell

Im on 16s and had to remove mine, but you can cut the front bit off and re-attach the rear to stop the stones coming into the door sills. (Which is what I am currently working on amongst other things)
