   my vtr had a recon engine about 39k ago its not the black top one is this the mk 2 engine?

   there was a grey and silver toP i think matey. is your cat in the manifold or underneath the car

   noooo idea lol, never looked, would say engine was more grey than anything or could just be dirty,lol

   mk1s also came with silver top engines
   
   black tops were only used for the first couple of yours when the saxo came out
   
   how many plugs has your ecu got
   
   1 = 90bhp engine
   3 = 98 bhp
