Been looking on the internet to find out how to fit window tint film. Finding it a bit difficult so was wondering if anyone knew how to fit them. I read the instructions and it goes on about squeegein the window with mild soap then carefully using a flat blade run it along horizontally to remove any oils. Then it goes on to say place the film on the window and then squeege it against the window. I get really confused at this point as neither side of the film is actually sticky or seems like it will stick to a window. Any help much appreciated Thanks REP given.

#2I would recomment buying pre-cut window film. Its about £35. I bought a roll of film and ended up with a terrible mess! lol. You have to clean the window before applying the film, i.e get rid of any bits or dirt/finger prints/smudges etc else this will show when you have put the film on and will look awful.
Spray the window with a mix of water and a little fairy liquid (thats what i did), then press the film against desired window. Try and get it on as flat and uncreased as you can. Makes things easier.
The soapy water btw is so you can move the film around and get any creases out before it actually sticks.
With the squeegee (sp), you need to 'squeeze' all the water out from under the film. This makes the film stick to the window. If you can i would recommend taking the windows out and doing it as it is easier.
I hope you understood what i am trying to say!

#3Oh rite cheers thats alot of help cheers mate. Much better than the instructions. If i cut the film slightly bigger than the window can i then trim when its stuck on? Do i need to peel away any film or anything because it looks like it can be peeled. Cheers

#4What i did was made templates out of newspaper and then cut the film to shape. Was easiest!
Yes you do need to peel away the clear film from the black, make sure you have nails lol as can be tricky!
