   I'm sure it is possible but I cant recall anywhere that makes them.

   What have you got on atm? 45z or 50z? Must be able to get some, ring around some tyre companys, bet they will be more expensive though

   just had a quick seard on Google and it looks as if there are some out there but seem to be vary scarce, what do you want them for?

   I guess because people will pay over the odds for 'sports' designated equipment. Also there isnt much of a market for 195/40/R15's, which means smaller batch productions... economies of scale blah blah... thus higher prices

    whats wrong with a 45 profile tyre? its not like you need a lower profile with 15's.
    
    i've checked "black circles" and "my tyres" and neither of them sell them.
    
    My Tyres said "you have selected a proper tyre size but please ring for a quote"

    i doubt a 40 profile tyre will add anything to the euro look over a 45 profile tyre. it seems pointless to me. also it will make the ride less comfy and your going to be paying more for the pleasure.

    I thought the euro thingy was about getting daft width tyres (like 165s) then wrapping them over the wheel???

    fair play but i bought them for the look, but you dont look at tyres. well i dont anyway. thats just my opinion though. if you think its worth it then go for it.
