  26. #26
yes sometimes mates, just look at the wire in the fuse and see if its broken, thatwill indicate its blown or just smell it cos they stink when blown

Is there no fuse for the Driver's Airbag?
  32. #32
i think it may be one of the bigger fuses in the engine bay in the small fuse box
  33. #33
Anyone know which cable is the output from the fuse box which runs the sidelights/dash illumination etc??? Please PM me
Im trying to wire up 4 15" neons to the cable but using a relay and seperate + supply as it will prob blow the fuse ...

  38. #38
The first pic appears to be different from my fusebox, 1997 mk1 VTS, any ideas lol?
  39. #39
So, if the cigar lighter works its not the fuse!

There are two fuses listed for the heated rear screen tho?
  40. #40
Rear offside and dashboard light both failed at the same time. The bulb is fine at the rear and the front lights work, so isn't a fuse. I have cleaned earth and contacts and have now run out of ideas. Any suggestions? All ideas greatfully received...

Any chance that anyone knows what the different relays in the engine fusebox is for? In my car one of them isn't there and I am trying to find a problem that might be one of the others. Tried checking if there is anything written on them, but no luck.
  54. #54
For peoples information, the small green and small grey relays are controlling the lights of the car. I don't know wich one controlls what, but thought someone would find it useful sometime.
  55. #55

  58. #58

The starter uses a solenoid directly on the motor in place of a separate relay, which has a direct feed from the battery and a small current + from the ignition switch (blue wire 100).

    Yes.

The only different fuses are the 4 maxi fuses next to the fuel cut-off switch.

Do you have to pay for picture

Photobucket now want paid in order to link to pictures hosted on their site.

As a result (and years of me saying not to use PB thanks to foresight) you now can't view any images used unless the original poster re-uploads them to a different host.
