#2here is mine down 40mm on spax springs and reartorsion bar adjusted to suit, handles so much better mate
-
#3What do you want out of it?
Up to 40mm - Handling
Over 40mm - Looks
35/40mm is considered best handling. -
#4Also depends what wheels you have of course. I'm thinking of 16's when i get a VTR and only lowering 30mm to avoid any issues at all.
-
#6im keeping my 14" standard vtr alloys but i have been reading and noticed a kit ie dampers and springs are needed over 40mm am i right in saying this or is it ok to put 60mm lowering springs on standard dampers?? and if so where can i have them fitted because tweeks has said i need the kit!!

#7Quote:You can go down 60mm plus on 16's as long as you have 40 profile tyres, you wont get any rubbing either.
It's really just the look i'm going for. I don't want to mod the arches too much and a real slammed look doesn't 'do it' for me for some reason. Subtle is the key IMHO.

#8is arch work needed with a 60 mm drop?
-
#10what about on a standard 1.1 on 15's? how low do we rekon without rubbing on a 45 profile? and also any pictures. cheers
-
#13when i have 2 peeps in the back though it rubs on the drivers side a touch. I've had the inner lip rolled up aswell...i know i'm just bragging i have 2 friends
lol. I'm considering 35mm. is it worth telling insurance too? What springs did you use?
cheers
