How do I fit Laguna Splitter to Front Bumper?

I have just got myself a Laguna Front Splitter (one with Vents), and I am going to fit it to my front bumper.
I have a Furio (so got the VTR style Bumpers with the Standard Bumper Extension/Splitter)
I have looked at some threads about fitting one, but i looked under my original splitter, and there is no lip on it to beable to bolt the laguna splitter to?
Has any one fitted one that could give me some tips on how to fit it?

if you look down through the bonnet in front of the radiator you will see a plastic shield whats part of the bumper

what i did is get some big mo fo screws and screw through that shield into the splitter

you will need someone to hold the splitter while you screw
it will need chopping off at the edges so so start in middle and work outwards
