chipwizards remap & fan?

   hi everyone. as you may know the old cammed vts is up for its remap this friday at chipwizards. can anyone thats had a remap tell me whether their car got hot enough for the radiator fan to come on?
   
   i bought a fan off someone on here when i did the conversion to vts and its never worked.
   
   i finally got it off at the weekend and the motor is naffed. i really cant afford to buy one off citroen before friday and all the local scrappys are out of them!!! there are also none on ebay!
   
   will i need the fan on? or will the fan that they use be efficient enough to keep the engine cool enough? im really in a mess with this.
   
   OR
   
   are there any other cars in the citroen/ peugeot range that have the exact same fan and cowling?

   I wouldnt be running a remapped car without a radiator fan. Or trying to. Unless the fan there using creates whirlwinds. Im sure you could use C2 VTR or VTS fan, cant be much difference. You could fit anything if you try hard enough.
   
   After all a cool engine is a happy engine so the bigger the fan the better

   He probably wont touch it if the engine is showing signs of weakness hence the fan not working he wont want to naff your car

   Try 24/7 spares on the net, type what your after and they ring you with the closest scrap yard to you that has one.
   
   When remapping wont they have a fan if its going on the r/r?

   get to a scrappers find a fan that will do the job and wire it up so it constantly runs when ignition is on or wire it up to a switch so you can flick it on while on the rr

   he ahs a huuuuuuuuuuge fan mate, it may be ok. just let him know and he may be able to crank it up a bit

    Hi seanp06 how did you get ur vtr to that power coz i hav got a vtr 2001 mk2 and it has got a viper induction kit on a 4-1 manifold and full magnex system then a have a cam to go in it what horse do you rekon i will be pushing cheerz m8

    doubt he'll let the car get hot enough, as will want it get it mapped for cold starts etc.
    
    As sadi he will use his wonder fan.

    its more of the drive up id worry about, 1 bit of traffic and you will be fucked.
