hi guys, was wondering if i cud have your opinions, right, ive got a saxo mk2 posi blue vtr, its my first car and ive been driving it for 4 months now and ive added pioneer bluetooth headunit, vibe cbr 12" active evo sub/amp, and pipercross open air filter induction kit, and ive just ordered some spax springs/shocks 60mm drop kit. but im in two frame of minds
1, lower it on 15"/16" white alloys wheels e.g team dynamics pro race finished in white, and would leave the rest of the car pretty much standard.

2, lower it only 15"/16" gun metal or black dished/flat 5spoke alloy wheels, e.g parotech vampires or lenso rs5's or team dynamics pro race finished in black/gun metal, plus black angel eye headlamps, ultra black rears, smoked side repeaters, black fogs.

because my i want my saxo to be different but i dont want to spoil the good lookin standard look, although everyone in my area has the same theme, silver/chrome wheels and lowered so i want to be a little bit different but want good looks on the car to.
    cheers guys, joe

The Saxo (at the moment) lends its self well to couple of styles . . .

Rally Slag - Stripped out interior, White or Black Motorsport inspired wheels and so on

Euro - Total smoothing! Less is more, as low as you can go on deep dished small rims

Lite Modding - minamal exterior mods with a nice interior, sutle wheels and a nice drop.

Working out what you want from your car can help you relise which direction you take.

Rally Slag is great if your happy taking just one other person with you and having to shout over the drone of a exhaust and unsilenced road noise. Quite a lot of Girls are not keen on this sparss look - how would your girfriend feel about it and would you want to put up with it everyday if its a dialy drive?

Euro is a great look at the moment but all the hard (epensive) work could go out the window after a trips to the local supermarket, 60mm+ lowering and speed bumps dont go together, also them ultra expensive Euro rims will take alot of hard work to keep clean if its still going to be a daily drive.

Lite Modding could see a nice mixture between the two, sutle mods can look better than big kist and stuff on saxo's these days, then again just colour coding rubbing stripes and changing wheels will never make your saxo stand out from the crowd.

Like I said decide what you want from your car then make chooce a styling parth that suits your needs. If the cars going to be a dialy drive some of the more expensive routes may not make sense.
