would a direct fit backbox and catbypass pipe made for a 1996 - 2000 1.4 saxo fit a 1.1i 1996 - 2000 saxo? ie do they have the same fittings? cheers

I would imagin not but a decent exhauts shop or garage should be able to either slightly tweek the pipework or add/move the exhaust hangers for you.

Not sure about the bore tho.

If your looking for direct fitment for your Saxo Im sure Peco lists the 1.1 and they have a large selection of tailpipe sizes and shapes :-)

As he says any decent garage should be able to make it fit. The exhaust brackets will most likely have to be altered and the connections between the manifold and cat by pass pipe and between the backbox and cat by pss will have to be sleeved and welded to fit. Not a massive job but the only worry is that the welded parts will snap eventually.

It should fit ok mate as long as the cats are in the same place.

I bought an exhaust for the 1.1 from edworthys, and i put it on but ended up slanted to the side. So i went to a garage and they sorted it out for £50: moved the exhaust hangers, and straightened it.
