If i was to paint my old rear light with paint the same colour as my car would it be legal??

I think theres a special type of paint for it that still lets light through which would be legal but thick gloss paint etc would not let it through.

It is legal if it lets the light through, i believe you may have a problem with the reflectors though, can be easily fixed however with some mounted on or under the rear bumper

He just said! Or you could cover up part of the reflector so it doesn't get sprayed, might look naff though

think you have to put the paint into the laquer so the paint will be more clear and thin if you catch my drift, either that or they use thinners

just but lots of laquer in the mix or just put very light coats on
