chevrons

    where can i get 2 little chevrons to go on some mesh i saw it on someones car on a picture on here and it looked mint. Anyone got any ideas? and what paints and stuff would be needed to spray them black a long with the citroen and saxo badges? like lacquer and stuff

    use the chevrons on your grill, takin it your meshing your grill

    go to halfords,just get some primer, laquer anf black paint

    lol i hadnt thought of that, can you just take them out? plus what do i do when i come to sell it, buy a new mark1 grille?

    You could get them from Citroen, just a guess though. Thats where i would go to get some Citroen badges.

    i butchered my grill, i.e cut out chevrons and plastic slats, meshed it, then re-fixed the chevrons. looks great, quite easy to do. only thing, the plastic surround tends to fade if not painted after a while!!!

    We are talking about a mk1 btw guys. No, i don't know where to get the stick on chevrons that would fit onto a mk1 meshed grille, although it wouldn't suprise me if there was something floating around on ebay.

    Yo peach, just sand, prime, spray and lacquer the original ones

    When should the mesh arrive??

    when i meshed my grill i put my chevrons from the orginal grill on to see what it looked like.
    imo they looked a little large and out of place, so they came straight back off.

    its your call though. perhaps you could get some different ones on egay.

    Citroen ax and bx came with slightly smaller stick on chevrons which would fit nicely!
