Savage Exhaust .......

   Right got a savage exhaust on the way got it really cheap here's the dimensions will it fit my car. I have a 1998 1.1x sax cheers Bondie
   
   SAVAGE PERFORMANCE EXHAUSTS BACK BOX
   
   TOTAL LENGTH 24" LONG
   
   EXIT PIPE DIAMETER IS 4.5"
   
   INLET PIPE DIAMETER IS JUST OVER 2"
   
   THE BOX SECTION IS 14" LONG
   
   BOX IS APPROX 5" DIAMETER
   
   END PIPE IS 7" LONG
   
   HAS A BRACKET FOR HANGING IT ONTO CAR

   I fitted one of these savage exhausts once to a saxo.
   They DO fit , but you will need to grind the flange off the mid section which is left behind once u remove your old backbox.
   After this you need a piece of exhaust pipe to connect your mid section onto your new backbox with exhaust clamps.
   I also suggest you get someone to weld the bracket onto the backbox.

   ow and another thing , heat the bracket and straighten it alittle or your exhaust will hang up to high and make a really irritating noise while it clatters off your bumper

   they are all around 60/70 quid for the backbox as far as I know

   Is it a universal one then? If so I wont imagine it being easy to fit.

    If your not sure about having ago yourself most custom exhaust shops will fit a back box for about £50-£90 and will weld new hangers and so.
    
    Get some pic's up as soon as it turns up :-)

    firstly savage are shite. it will be realy over bored and sound chavvy as fuck.
    
    secondly all the universal stuff usually falls off after a short period of time due to incorrect fitment/hangers etc...

    Wtf is your problem mate fine slag it off aint gunna take any notice cuz it's what i wont to put on and it's goin to the garage to be put on properly until i have enuff money to get a full system.

    think about in literally, are they going to be welding on hangers for it?>
    as universal boxes dont have hangers fitted or if they are they are rarely in the right place, this will cause the exhaust to either sit very poorly, or fall off in most cases lol...
    
    add this to the fact the car will sound appauling... and go as fast as a turtle with the squits.
