can a saxo be highered at the rear, and if so how much would it cost
highering
-
#1
-
#2I assume so... But why would you want to? It's high enough as it is...!
-
#3because my wheels are rubbing
-
#4Get some that are designed for a Saxo then....
-
#5they are, there vtr alloys, only happens when i go round corners
-
#6is your car at standard hight? if it is im not really too sure if it can go higher
but if its been lowered its just a case of doing the opposite to the torsion bar. -
#8nah deffo the back its like a rattling sound, and only does it when i got some one in the back
-
#10quite low, and i havent had it lowerd or anything
-
#11well if its at standard hight it shouldnt rubb at all really on vtr alloys tbh it should only affected when you have fitted larger alloys.
have you had it too a garage yet? i would take it to one if i was you something doesnt sound right. -
#12its alrite with the standard hub cap wheels on
-
#13I can only guess its a base model saxo, i.e. a 1.1
If so u need to do arch mods to stop is rubbin at the back, as highering it will just bugger things up. I think u will find u need to cut away some of the inner arch to stop it rubbing -
#14just fix the part thats rubbing i.e. cut it off.
-
#15ahh i see the light now, thought you have a vt whatever.
in that case get the grider out or bend the inside lip back using a hammer.
remember to seal it after with paint ect to protect it from rust -
#16lol love if it, just attack it with something sharp
