#2They're sprayed. You might be able to buy them (but from people who have done it themselves).
-
#3I read you can just take som 1200 wet and dry paper to them and they'll come up black... Wasn't sure, so if anyone can confirm because i fancy black badges?
-
#4Yes you can do that... Matt (silver_saxo) and Steve did this yesterday. Yeh they looked ok.
-
#5So Matt and Steve just used a 1200 wet and dry paper? Just rubbing lightly?
-
#6Depends how good they look on the colour of the car i reckon... They look good your colour though IMO mate!
-
#7I sprayed my badges black before they came off completely. Easy enough to get off and spray up but a bitch to stick back on again!
Easiest way is as above, just rub the silver paint off the badges with 1200wet -
#8or T-Cut
-
#9have a go at t-cutting the chrome off first then you can see if you like them, then if you do take them off and paint them
-
#10Cheers lads i will be having a go this weekend with t-cut and wet and dry.
-
#11sprayed mine at weekend.. primed it ... sprayed black... came out LOVELY
...
will get some pics at one point!!
-
#12will look like this. use normal t-cut and a rag, dont need sand paper
-
#13t cut is the best way to do it. like landy has, you can leave them on the car and no real danger of damaging any paintwork on the tailgate.
-
#14I'll take a look at landys at weekend and get some tips lol
-
#15looks like ill be giving this ago over the weekend, if so ill post up some pics
-
#17i just took mine off and sprayed them lol
-
#18how did you take them off without damaging them and how did ya put them back on didnt the sticky pads loss there stick lol
-
#19does using t-cut make them come out kinda gray? as i have a black furio and wondered if the mismatch in colour would look off? Otherwise im gonna spray them
