Air intake, HELP!!

    I need help on moding my air intake, im wanting to increase the size of it because i have heard it increases performance, does it? and how would i go about doing it??

    it will, but only slightly. you would be better with an air filter such as a BMC or a Green Enclosed Filter.

    the engine will only take in as much air as it needs so making it bigger wont see much off a diffrence imo

    correct, engine only sucks in as much as it needs so no need to make the intake bigger especially on a 1.1. wouldn't bother wasting money on air filters etc on a 1.1 to be honest.

    Me and my mate (saxooxas) have fitted a K&N to his 1.1 and it hasn't made that much difference, the main difference that you'll notice is a rather nice grunty sound coming from the engine as it's a much quicker air feed (no big-ass airbox etc). So not much point in an induction kit on a 1.1 If you really want one, check out ebay for a 1.1 K&N they're about 60 quid.
