Cig lighter wires

   hiya all,
   
   Im trying to work out the three wires on the back of my cig lighter. Top middle and bottom.
   
   The bottom looks like earth, the other two must be power to cig lighter and power for the little light up surround connected to the car headlights.
   
   Anyone know which is which?

   from what i remember i only had two wires and the thicker of the two was earth, just test with a multimeter or one of the bulb current testers

   i had three,
   
   yellow and green
   grey and
   blue
   
   Blue was for the surrounding light
   Grey was positive and yellow greeny one was earth.
   
   Im positive thats they way it was
