    u tried resetting the ecu???
  8. #8
no mate didnt no u could do that?
  9. #9
dont think you can, im sure its a Citroen job. like when you have an error that comes up on their Diagnostic machine they reset the ECU to get rid of the error

Have you managed to find yourself some saxo plugs? if not pm me your address and i'll send you some as i have a set left over from when i changed my interior.. they have some wire still attached so you could give them a try

It may of course not be your pretensioners that have the dodgy connection.. check the junction of the orange wires underneath your ignition cover (below steering wheel)

    Cheers
    Alex

EDIT: alternatively you could connect the citroen pretensioners to the pug seats..?

well it all wored fine b4 i put new seats in basically now all i have is wires joined by electrical connectors, the original saxo plugs were neva there anyway, and i had to chop the 106 ones off anyway so im stuck with just wires

well u can reset the 106 when u've had certain problems.

all u do is disconnect negative battery treminal then unplug ecu leave for an hour. then plug the ecu in and reconnect the battery. let it idle for 10 mins. job sorted.

thought the saxo's may have been the same but i could very well be wrong
